ABOUT OPENGPT
AI decision intelligence, with the limits visible
OpenGPT is an independent AI Decision Intelligence Platform. It connects public facts, explicit editorial judgment, your stated conditions, and browser-local evaluation so a shortlist remains explainable instead of looking like an unexplained verdict.

- Builder turns a local Profile into a deterministic, conditional shortlist.
- Workspace supports exact-version comparison and representative work tests.
- Cost intelligence is planning guidance, not a bill or price guarantee.
- Decision intelligence separates sourced facts from OpenGPT editorial judgment.
Builder and Profile
Builder applies published deterministic rules to the goals, budget, privacy, language, platform, and experience conditions selected in your Profile. The result is a conditional shortlist—not a measured universal quality ranking. Profile data stays in browser storage by default.
Workspace and real-task evidence
Workspace is where you compare exact versions, record assumptions, and test candidates with representative work. Local task prompts, pasted answers, judgments, and reports stay in the browser unless you explicitly export them.
Cost and decision intelligence
Cost intelligence turns listed provider pricing and your assumptions into a planning estimate. Variable usage, hosting, hardware, discounts, taxes, and future provider changes may not be included, so verify current terms with the provider. Decision intelligence keeps provider-published facts, public benchmark context, OpenGPT fit judgments, and user-declared conditions visibly distinct.
What OpenGPT does not claim
OpenGPT does not claim that one ranking identifies the best system for every person or task. Unless a result explicitly says OpenGPT reproduced it, the site organizes upstream evidence rather than rerunning the evaluation.
- It does not sell ranking placement, confidence labels, or editorial outcomes.
- It does not silently upload local prompts, answers, or reports.
- It is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenAI or any other model provider.
How to use the site
Start with a task, inspect two or three candidates, read Why, Evidence, Assumptions, Confidence, and When not to choose, then test exact versions with representative work. Missing data remains unknown instead of being converted to zero or an estimate.
